  Why can some question and others not

  we are not jehovah's witnesses because of a variety of circumstances, but one thing we all share is that we question.. what factors come together to make us questioners?.

  intelligence?

  but i know a lot of very smart non-questioning jehovah's witnesses.. bravery?

  why some question and others don't ? I think everyone questions, but most choose to ignore their own doubts in favour of 'religious unity'.It's a false self deluding fantasy of unity that they need SO badly to help them to cling to the belief that they are God's org.So many witnesses that i have ever had deep honest conversations with have told me so many doubts (some i had'nt even thought of and merely added to my own doubts that i'd found 'it')there are so many out there ignoring so much. Me, well i was finding it so hard to believe the HYPOCRACY in the cong i went to; and when the probs were swept under the carpet again and my integrity crapped on i decided to sod off and so i did. and here i am .Perhaps we're the ones who were told to question and took it LITERALLY!!!!!!!!!

  Thankyou so much for the extra articles.I have been plagued with ass wiping problems for so long, not any more;i have read and reread these in my bathroom and will continue to refer to them in times of rectal confusion. Food at the proper time indeed.

  Making our own underground news / media

  is there any way in which anyone of us could organise our own amatuer media outfit, to seek interviews with the wt hq's.

  the teams could be made up of one interviewer, one camerawo/man and another to keep exact notes of the proceedings.. with broadband width now having been introduced, how can we avail these resources to our advantage in manipulation of media interest upon the wt, how can we create stories for ourselves, without deviating from the truth of our objectives?.

  are there any more quite radical action risk takers within the community here?.

  Nice idea Celtic, but i don't know if it would work as from my experience over the last few weeks; they tend to shut down and retreat when feeling under pressure. Like getting blood out of a witness, it was.I wonder if more effective advertising of this site would'nt go amiss...perhaps an effort to make internet sites less apostate sounding and work more on peer pressure e.g. Information is the right ALL dubs shouldaspire to and not something to be banned by the society or parents.After all theres alot of info in the mags so its not exactly an alien concept is it ? An internet ad campaign to hit all relevant sites maybe.. p.s. it.s my birthday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  My father just beat my brother-

  one more topic.. my wife just called up to tell me that she was over my parents before a doctor's visit, chatting with my mother, when my crazed jw father threw my small 14 year old brother down the stairs and punched him for not wanting to study.. i've been beat, thrown down stairs, had potted plants thrown at me, chased around the house, and such, for not wanting to do the family study.. this is what the "truth" does to people, all you loyal jw's....take note...... (i'm so angry i'm shaking).

  So, so, sorry if you thought i sounded judgemental. I guess all who have been through this panic a little and everything rushes out ... i protected my mother until the day she died, and it sounds like you are too; they know we're doing our best...and all the while they're trying to protect us.I hope it all works out for all of youxxxxxxxxxxxx

  this all sounds so bloody familiar, i'm so sorry you're having to cope with all this...I remember trying to call the polic SO many times but haVing the phone wrenched out of my hands.You may have to look at all this from the US viewpoint on domestic violence...in the us i believe the police will prosecute EVEN IF INJURED PARTTY TRIES TO DROP IT.They see it as something that is non negotiable and so should we. we get trapped into not reporting because of family wishes,What if next time he does hit his head badly? what if he dies? i have had to watch and suffer apalling injureis due to such crap...CALL THE POLICE OR SOCIAL SERVICES ANNANAMOUSLY, then they'll be no come back... they'll just assume a neighbour heard and reported it.PLEASE...look at me...he'll be f****d up for life if you don't .love to youxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
